Attention tech geniuses, Couch Middle School needs your help! Are you interested in teaching the teachers how to use cool technology? Ever wish you could show your teacher some cool technology tips to use in the classroom? Well here’s your opportunity to shine! We’re looking for technology geniuses to share their knowledge of apps, web 2.0 tools, games, tablets, phones, and essentially any kind of cool technology that teachers might be interested in learning. The best part is YOU will become the trainer! You’ll present all this cool technology to Grayson Cluster teachers on Monday, February 16th! If this sounds like something you would like to experience, please download the form below and return it to Mr. Stewart or Mrs. Garner by Thursday, October 16th. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, October 21st, at 8:15 am in the Media Center. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Mrs. Cindy Apley Rose for being named one of SIX finalists for the Gwinnett County Public Schools Teacher of the Year! We're so proud of you, Mrs. Rose!!! Good luck in the next round! The winner will be announced on November 11, 2014!!
Mark your calendar for October 20 - 24th for the 15th Annual Gwinnett Great Days of Service. Gwinnett County volunteers have been coming together for the past 15 years to make their community a better place to benefit local non-profit agencies that provide goods and services to people within the community who are struggling financially or emotionally and need assistance with basic needs such as food, shelter, medical services, prescription drugs, education, etc. Those non-profit agencies rely almost solely upon donations and volunteers and are struggling to make ends meet. They need your help. Couch Middle School supports the Great Days of Service by donating items such as canned goods, peanut butter, cereal, toothpaste, diapers, soap, deodorant, and shampoo in order to help restock the shelves of the food banks and co-ops in Gwinnett County. Please send in your donations with your child during the week of October 20th. There will be collection boxes in the Atrium and Car Rider Entrance. Thank you for all your support!
We will be participating in the Box Tops for Education™ program again this year! Clip those Box Tops and turn them into your homeroom teacher or the front office. You can also sign up at BTFE.com to get coupons and stay updated on our school’s earnings. Thanks for helping our school!
